Heather Wyatt

Chief Volunteer Officer; Animal Management Coordinator

Heather Wyatt is the Chief Volunteer Officer and Animal Management Coordinator for Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary. Her areas of focus include providing leadership and guidance for the entire organization, strategic intake of animals, and coordinating quality medical care for each animal within Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary. 

Besides working voluntarily with Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary, Heather works full time on her farm where she has chickens, turkeys, guineas, pigs, bees, and of course, lots of rescue animals! Heather has extensive experience of 10+ years in the animal rescue world. She has served in many different roles such as intake, foster home, medical, and adoption coordinators, as well as a director on a board for a local rescue. Heather was also an Interior Designer for many years in Alabama and Florida. 

Heather is extremely passionate about rescuing, fostering, and saving homeless animals' lives. In her free time, Heather and her husband Chris enjoy spending time with their fur babies, family, and grandchildren. She also enjoys running her small business- The Wyatt Farm.

You will often find Heather on Saturdays at local Birmingham Farmers Markets and festivals where she sells farm fresh eggs, beautiful wildflower bouquets, and to die for liquid and creamed honey.

Lindsey Setser

Foster and Volunteer Coordinator

Lindsey Setser is the Foster and Volunteer Coordinator for Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary. Her areas of focus include active recruitment and maintenance of fosters & volunteers for the organization. She works closely with volunteers, fosters, and their foster rescue animals, to ensure a quality experience for all. 

Besides working voluntarily with Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary, Lindsey works full time with Milo’s Tea Company as an Administrative Assistant in the Sales Department. She previously worked as a rescue based, foster home coordinator for two years. Lindsey also taught students with special needs for 14 years in Alabama and Arizona. 

Lindsey is enthusiastic about supporting and working closely with fosters, volunteers, and rescue animals. Lindsey and her husband Jacob have five fur children of their own and often keep a foster sibling in their pack. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys visiting local Alabama breweries, hiking with her dogs at TanneHill State Park, kayaking with her husband on the Terrapin Creek, and kickboxing.

Desiree Tucker

Adoption Coordinator; Social Media Webmaster

Desiree Tucker is the Adoption Coordinator and Social Media Webmaster for Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary. Her areas of focus include working with fosters to educate them on best practices in assisting with their foster animal’s adoption journey. She works closely with approved potential adopters to provide them with a smooth and positive adoption journey experience in finding their furever best friends! Desiree also works diligently to maintain, promote, and provide current data for the organization’s social media presence across several platforms. 

Besides working voluntarily with Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary, Desiree works full time as a Veterinary Assistant at an Emergency Vet Clinic in Los Angeles, California. Desiree has seasoned experience as a former adoption coordinator for a foster based rescue. Desiree also worked retail, as a bank teller, property manager, and pharmacy technician in her many moves across the country. 

Desiree’s husband is an active duty Marine for 20+ years giving her family the opportunity to see the country. Desiree is a mother to four beautiful children. Two fur, Reed & Mando and two humans, AnaMaree, and Joseph. In her free time Desiree enjoys FaceTime calls with her grandchildren and spending time outside with her dogs and husband. Desiree is very eager to provide all fosters, potential adopters, and rescue animals, with the utmost quality and memorable experiences during the adoption journey.
